CCC #22 and All Things Tim and Simon Says Stamp and Show

Whew, what a looonnggg title. lol

First let me say "I am Sorry" I have simply not had the time to go to all of your blogs this week, I probably will be able to try to catch up by this coming weekend, but I feel terrible. Please forgive me.

This card is made to enter into the three challenges listed below, but the Main one would have to be Linda's at Studio L3, no slight to the others, but Linda is the one who got me started on this path of challenges and I think she deserves a big hug. Thanks Linda!!!

Now, this is a technique you will find in the Tim Holtz book "Compendium of Curiosities" page 52. I cannot give you the how to for this out of fairness to Tim. You can pick up his book HERE and play along with us!

I used about 7 different AI's for this as well as the metal mixative. Then I stamped with some dollar stamps from Michaels and topped it off with some stuff from my Christmas card making box.

And that's it...pretty kewl technique and super easy to do. But please be sure it is totally dry prior to stamping, I now have one stamp with a beautiful bronze patina lol

Yelowflower, you're such a sweetheart (as well as an incredible talent), and I really appreciate your sweet words! I'll take that hug, even virtually. :-)

Your card is just mind-blowingly gorgeous! WOW, do those colors ever sing! You aced the splatter technique and chose some awesome stamps, too (those were a dollar??). The little "snow" banner is so cute, and really stands out.

As always, you rocked it!

Such vibrant colours aren't necessarily my first thought for a Christmas card, but they really work - great job! :) The Design Team are really pleased that you joined us for the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge this week - Thank you!
