Challenge 16: Wrinkle-Free Distress

Challenge 16: Wrinkle-Free Distress

over at StudioL3 the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge is still going strong, and here is my entry

Let me apologize right up front for these pictures, no matter what I did there were no good shots this time. As for that one being sideways, I saved that picture 4 times, going in all four directions and blogger would not load ONE of them right side up. Sorry.

so, lets start off with the technique....I LOVE IT... it is so easy to do and to come up with a really really neat background....I made about 20 before I made myself stop. lol

Ok, and I used four DI for this, antique linen, firebrick, faded jeans and tea dye, the birds are Tims, but the trees are unknown. White gel pen for the snow, white embossing powder for the star and the rest were scraps from other projects.

(posting this at work on break, no time left for more - thanks for looking)

WOW, do I ever love your header!

Congratulations on being last week's winner. Your piece was stunning.

I also appreciate it when you take the time to visit my blog. The encouragement is wonderful. I had company for a week so I'm glad we had some extra time for this challenge.

YelowFlower, this is SO wonderful! The design truly conveys the feeling of "Peace," and it's absolutely beautiful. I really like the colors you used and the way you did the wrinkle-free distress technique-- it has a bit of a Northern Lights feel to it! The stamps are great and the sweet snowflake is a gorgeous contrast to the earth tones.

I love this!
